Description: Frankie Dunn has trained and managed some incredible fighters during a lifetime spent in the ring. Ea este refuzata dar nu se da batuta si vrea sa ii demonstresez ca este destul de buna pentru asta. Impreuna cu unul din prieteni antrenorului Eddie Dupris reusesc sa il convinga pe astfel Frankie ca Maggie va fi antrenata de unul dintre cei mai buni antrenori ai momentului. De-a lungul filmului Frankie se ataseaza din ce in ce mai tare de eleva sa, deoarece nu are o relatie prea grozava cu propria lui fiica. Practic Maggie este adoptata de antrenorul ei si impreuna incearca sa urce cat mai sus pe podium.
