Description: Robert Neville is a scientist who was unable to stop the spread of the terrible virus that was incurable and man-made. Descrierea: Robert Neville (Will Smith) e un savant stralucit, dar nici macar el nu a putut eradica teribilul virus care era de neoprit, incurabil... si facut de om. Intr-un fel imun, Neille este acum ultimul supravietuitor in ceea ce a mai ramas din New York... si poate din intreaga lume, dar nu e singur. Este inconjurat de "infectati", victime ale bolii care s-au transformat in fiinte carnivore care pot trai numai in intuneric si care vor devora sau vor infecta pe oricine sau orice din calea lor.
Timp de trei ani, Neville si-a petrecut zilele cautand hrana si provizii si trimitand mesaje radio, disperat sa gaseasca si alti supravietuitori care ar mai putea exista. Intre timp, cei infectati se strecoara prin umbra, urmarind fiecare fiecare miscare a lui Neville, asteptand sa faca o greseala fatala. Poate ultima si cea mai buna speranta a omenirii, Neville este motivat de un singur scop: a gasi o cale de inversare a efectelor bacteriei folosind propriul sau sange imun. Din nefericire, tot sangele sau este si tinta celor infectati. Neville stie ca este in minoritate si in curand ramane fara timp.
