Description: After a lonely summer on Privet Drive, Harry returns to a Hogwarts full of ill-fortune. Few of students and parents believe him or Dumbledore that Voldemort is really back. The ministry had decided to step in by appointing a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher that proves to be the nastiest person Harry has ever encountered. Harry also can't help stealing glances with the beautiful Cho Chang. To top it off are dreams that Harry can't explain, and a mystery behind something Voldemort is searching for. With these many things Harry begins one of his toughest years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

De teama ca venerabilul director al Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore, minte in privinta revenirii lui Cap-De-Mort pentru a-i submina pozitia si a-l inlocui in functie, Ministrul Magiei, Cornelius Fudge, numeste un nou profesor de Aparare Impotriva Magiei Negre, pentru a-l supraveghea pe Dumbledore.
Numai ca acest curs nu se dovedeste eficient pentru a-i proteja pe studenti impotriva fortelor intunecate care ii ameninta, asa ca ajutat de prietenii sai Hermione si Ron, Harry decide sa rezolve lucrurile de unul singur. Intalnindu-se in secret cu un grup de studenti care-si spun "Armata lui Dumbledore", Harry ii invata cum sa se apere de Magia Neagra, pregatindu-i pe curajosii tineri vrajitori pentru lupta extraordinara care ii asteapta.
