Description: Originally titled, The Darkest Evil, the adaptation of this classic Lovecraft tale is set in Louisiana and tells the story of several scholars headed by Henry Armitage (Dean Stockwell) who discover the secret to destroying mysterious, other-worldly beings that threaten humankind. Descrierea:The Dunwich Horror este povestea unui tanar pe nume Wilbur Whately care se imprieteneste cu o bibliotecara pe nume Nancy. El vrea sa puna mana pe Necronomicon, o carte diabolica care s-ar putea sa-l ajute sa deschida un portal spre o alta dimensiune unde se afla "Cei Antici". Whately locuieste intr-o casa mare cu bizarul lui bunic si o creatura nevazuta incuiata intr-o camera. Doctorul Henry Armitage, proprietarul cartii, il suspecteaza pe Wilbur cum ca ar profita de Nancy doar ca sa puna mana pe carte. El isi da seama imediat ca el vrea sa o sacrifice pe nancy pentru a-si duce la capat planul diabolic. In timp ce Wilbur pune mana pe carte si incepe incantatia de a deschide portalul, Armitage incearca sa il opreasca, dar creatura inchisa pana acum este eliberata si incepe sa omoare tot ce ii sta in cale.
